Senior Python Developer / DevOps Engineer – Azure DevOps

Senior Level (10 Years to 12 Years)

Mid – Level (7 years to 10 Years)

We are seeking Python Developers with strong DevOps experience to support application development, automation, and cloud infrastructure initiatives. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and enhance cloud-native deployments on Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python (FastAPI / Flask)
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, build & release workflows)
• Own and execute application and infrastructure deployments across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep or ARM templates
• Deploy and manage applications on Azure services (App Services, Functions, AKS, Storage, SQL)
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC
• Automate deployments, environment provisioning, and operational tasks using scripting (Python, Bash)
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, Application Insights)
• Troubleshoot deployment, performance, and environment-related issues
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are followed

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Python development
• Experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, artifacts)
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
• Proven experience managing end-to-end deployments and release cycles
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, branching strategies, and release management
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform)
• Experience with REST API development and integration
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FastAPI and microservices architecture
• Exposure to data pipelines or event-driven architectures
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
• Exposure to AI/ML integration or data engineering workflows is a plus
