Role Purpose:
The SAP Solution Manager Consultant is responsible for end-to-end administration, configuration, monitoring, and operations of SAP Solution Manager (Sol Man).
Key Responsibilities:
A. System Landscape & Architecture
– Manage Solution Manager Landscape & SSM scope
– Configure and maintain LMDB, SLD
– System Preparation & Infrastructure Preparation
– Monitor SMD Agents
B. Managed System Configuration
– Execute Managed System Configuration for connected SAP systems
C. Technical Monitoring & Operations
– Maintain Technical Monitoring – MAI, MONA
– Daily monitoring of incidents and system health
– Review EWA Reports and housekeeping tasks
D. User/Role & Compliance Management
– Administer user roles & authorizations; maintain audit documentation
E. Change Management & Release Support
– Support CRQ/SR creation, stack file generation, transport cycles
F. Integration with Monitoring Tools
– Work with OBM, Cloud ALM, Event Hub monitoring
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical: SolMan 7.2, LMDB/SLD, Charm, MAI, EWA, SAP Basis knowledge.
Soft Skills: Communication, KT delivery, stakeholder management.
