Description:

The SAP BTP Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) landscape. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient operation of SAP BTP services, including integration, extensions, and cloud applications, while supporting development teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Administration: Manage SAP BTP subaccounts, global accounts, entitlements, and quotas. Configure and maintain connectivity (Cloud Connector, Destinations, RFC). Handle user and role management via SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
Monitoring & Performance: Monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization. Implement alerting and logging using SAP BTP tools and best practices.
Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards and governance policies. Manage certificates, OAuth tokens, and secure communication channels.
Integration & Extensions: Support SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh configurations. Assist developers with deploying applications on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Kyma).
Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve incidents related to SAP BTP services and connectivity. Collaborate with SAP support for issue resolution and patch updates.
Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain technical documentation for configurations and processes. Implement automation for routine administrative tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in SAP Basis or SAP Cloud Platform administration.
Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Integration Suite).
Knowledge of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
Familiarity with SAP Identity Services (IAS/IPS) and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
