Front End Angular Lead [Hands-on + Technical Oversight]

Role Summary

The Front-End Angular Lead will own front-end architecture and delivery for modern web applications, providing hands-on development and technical leadership. This role requires strong expertise in Angular, solid UI/UX sensibility, and close collaboration with .NET/C# backend, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, intuitive, and high-quality user experiences.
Hours: 3 PM IST to 11:30 PM IST

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the design and development of scalable front-end applications using Angular (latest versions).
• Define and enforce front-end architecture, coding standards, and reusable component strategies.
• Review code and mentor front-end developers to ensure quality and consistency.

UI Development & UX Alignment

• Develop responsive, high-performance interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular Material.
• Apply Angular Material Design principles, theming, and component customization.
• Ensure interfaces follow modern, clean, and minimalistic design standards.
• Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-accurate, production-ready Angular components.

Backend Collaboration

• Integrate front-end components with .NET / C# backend services using REST APIs.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts, data models, and error handling.
• Ensure smooth end-to-end application flow across front-end and backend layers.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with QA to support testing and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with US-based technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical

• 6+ years of front-end development experience with strong expertise in Angular.
• Hands-on experience with Angular Material Design (theming, layouts, components).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with RxJS and component-based architecture.
• Exposure to .NET / C# backend systems and REST API integrations.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

UI / UX

• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and responsive design.
• Proven ability to implement modern, minimalistic, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience working with design systems and UX guidelines.
• Awareness of accessibility and usability standards.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Experience working with offshore teams and US stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ownership mindset with a strong focus on quality and delivery.
